“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream today.” –Martin Luther King

We all dream and we all hope that we will be able one day to live our dream. Some have dreams for themselves, perhaps some material possessions, perhaps a better work position, perhaps a perfect companion, perhaps a family.

Others have different dreams, like a society that is democratic, based on values and not on corruption, better governments, better people being in authority positions, happier people around.

One day while I was in meditation I had a dream as well. It wasn’t about possessions, it wasn’t about a carrier or more money, it wasn’t about a better society.

My dream was very simple: I saw myself standing on the edge of a big cliff and the wind was caressing me. In this dream I had no face, I did not see myself or any characteristic of me that could make me aware that it was me, my body. What was captivating was the feeling of the dream, my feeling. I was in peace, I was in harmony, I was balanced. I was blissful with nothing around me, I was peaceful by myself.

The more I connect with this dream the more I feel it in my core, I feel it in my body. I feel the peacefulness and the magnitude of life and of our being. The rest are irrelevant. The rest do not exist. We have all created our realities based on what we see outside, what we perceive exists. The truth is that our reality is created by what we have inside, by how we feel, by our inner world. Things do not exist in the way we perceive they exist. They exist in many different ways, in order to satisfy every desire we, the co-creator has. Our satisfaction is immediate. If you fear dogs, the dog you meet will be aggressive to you and might even try to bite you. If you feel care and love for dogs, then the same dog will come to you and ask for a pet, for a kiss. Everything responds to your inner world, everything changes according to your inner being.

Don’t get me wrong, I believe the dream for a better society is beautiful. Even the dream for a better position, or some kind of material possessions is still rewarding and driven by our willingness to feel satisfaction, either with our achievements or with ourselves. But there is still another dream, the dream that is able and will change your life, your existence, your understanding of this 3 dimensional reality.

The dream of yourself being in peace and harmony. The image of yourself being in totality, immersed and bathed in love. This is the only dream that can change your reality, your future, even your past.

Gandhi said:

“Be the change that you wish to see in the world.”

Sometimes we just repeat it, or just post it somewhere without taking a moment to realize what he meant, or what this sentence means.

If you want to change the world, be the best you that can be. Shine your love and light in the world and leave the rest to effortlessly change and match your vibrational frequency. Do not try to change people or things around you. They are not ready to be changed, it cannot be done by force. It can only be done with love, with acceptance. Only by loving unconditionally you allow change to come.

Do I want to change the world? No! I love my world, I can see indescribable beauty in my world. I do not live in the same world as you.  I live in a different world, in my creation, in my small fraction of 3d reality.

I live my dream and at the same time I am not. When I am balanced and harmonised I am living my wildest dream. The craziest dream I could ever imagine myself having.

At the same time when I am not in harmony, I am living my nightmare. Everything looks different, not satisfying, not enough.

So every time you feel overwhelmed by your life, every time you feel you are getting lost, take some time. Just take your time and sit with yourself. With nobody else, with no friends, no parents, no partners. Just you with yourself. And really tap in to what you feel, how you perceive the situation, what upsets you, what makes you feel unbalanced. See it, feel it, love it. Accept it. Do not fight with it, do not close your eyes to it. And suddenly you will see that it is disappearing, it is evaporated, and suddenly the truth, your path, your true essence is there shining for you to see, giving you guidance, talking to you.

Don’t be in a hurry to take decisions, don’t be in a haste to act. Just stop and stay for a while. Stay with yourself and let your inner guidance show you the way. It is always the best way, it is always the correct way for you.
